Holy crap it's been a while since I updated this thing eh? Typical. Well lets see a quick summary or August til now......Summer markets ended, did a couple in the fall and 4 over Christmas, and then I took a break. I am now back at it and working on hats and soother clips.

Summer Almost Over

Well it's been an amazing summer here in the Valley, so happy to  be living here again. Summer markets are almost over, only two more left at Craig St. in Parksville and two at Guthrie. This saturday is the airshow, so unfortunately I will not be at Guthrie Market which is kinda a bummer cause I have some great new items! Minky Stroller Blankets, and a flannel and fleece one, new headbands and new hats.

Working on something very exciting in the coming months so stay tuned for that announcement.

Next up in the Campbell River Sportsplex First Annual Crafters Market on September 28th. Should be super exciting and fun, then the Christmas markets begin. So check facebook or back on here for those dates and see you at the market!

Crazy and Wonderful Week!

Well last week I did the Parksville Craig St. Market on Tuesday, and then busted my butt to make new items for Bathtub weekend in Nanaimo. Friday 630 am Kaila and I hit to road and met up with Tara and her awesome quilts. 9am the street fair started and it was INSANE!! But so awesome, we talked to some great people, had lots of fun and even sold some things. Spent the night at the Coast Bastion in a great room with both our babies, had an interesting night, haha, and woke up to do it all over again on Saturday. It was tonnes of fun and I couldn't have done it without my bestie Tara. THANKS T!! I'm definitely going back next year. So this week I had Craig St. last night which was a bit slower than usual, but got to put out 8 new headbands and a new display piece, tried a different table layout. Still waiting to hear back from Victoria about if Tara and I can go into the langford market, which I found out after applying is a judged market. Good thing tara and mines creations are AWESOME!! Haha...So I'll put a formal announcement on my FB page when I find out if we are in. After that I'll be continuing with Craig St. on Tuesday night until the end of August and doing the Guthrie St. Market on Saturday (just not this saturday). Oh and I ran out of cards!! Which is a good thing in many ways, exposure, custom orders and.....I redesigned my business cards and the font for my logo.

Craig St. Market in Parksville was AMAZING!! Great exposure for me, super friendly shoppers, good sales and awesome weather with a Evening Rainbow and Pink Orange Sunset to finish off the day. Can't wait for next Tuesday! The dates I will be at Craig St are:

July 23rd, August 6th and August 20th.......

ALSO!! Super exciting, Bathtub Day Weekend in Nanaimo, I will be set up with my friend and her super cute rag quilts and bibs, as well as sharing the booth with TaraLee Houston who makes acrylic pendants and other jewellery. This will be July 26th and 27th

And for the Guthrie St. Market I will be set up

July 20th, August 10th, 17th, 24th

Trying new Styles!

So after seeing some amazing designs on etsy and pinterest and what not, I've started to make my own ribbon and fabric flowers and am now playing with a new style of baby headband, some on lace some on sequin band. Here's a few Pics..... 

This one is still available it is size 18 months plus and will fit older kids as well as adults.

 This is also still available, it is size 0-6 Months

This one sold on Canada Day, I love it though and am going to be making more with these style flowers.
